Salient features

Sone Canal System is one of the oldest canal systems in the country. It is in operation since 1874.

The Agnoor H.E. Project envisages  to utilize the existing fall of 3.37 meter on Patna Branch Canal at km 41.92 (near its confluence with Sone Eastern) Main Canal for generation of Hydro Electric Power.

Location : Block –Kaler, Distt-Arwal
